Wednesday 23 September

Gouache-style illustration of a dark-haired teenager in a navy blue sweater and dark pants, kneeling in a church pew with his head bowed and both hands folded. Beside him is a partly open school bag holding notebooks with no legible writing. In front is an altar with a gold monstrance holding a white host and two lit candles, and a cross bearing the figure of Christ on the wall. Daylight comes in through a high window on the left.
