Saturday 18 July

Gouache-style illustration of an adult man with short dark hair and a beard, wearing an ivory-white tunic and a blue-gray cloth, sitting alone on a stone bench. He looks down at an open brown-covered book on his lap, holding it with both hands. His whole body and sandals are visible in a garden enclosed by light-colored walls, beneath a shady tree, with green plants, white and purple flowers, a gravel path, and an earthenware jar at the right edge.
